Get Forked and Fly is a Byron Bay Food Review.

I will keep you in the know about the Byron Bay food scene with weekly updates written from a local’s perspective. I will share with you my food reviews about Byron Bay cafés and Byron Bay restaurants. There will be food reviews about the best places to eat a bit beyond Byron Bay too. 

There’s also a section about the Best of Byron Bay places to eat that should get you in the mood for food whether your a local or visitor to this beautiful part of the world! 

I’ve got some great recipes to share as well – just in case you feel like eating in!

WHO IS GET FORKED AND FLY?

I am a food tragic. I spend my spare time reading recipe books, food reviews and food magazines, watching television cooking shows, visiting food markets, following other food blogs, seeking out foodie social media and, of course, cooking and eating!

When I’m not writing for Get Forked and Fly or eating out for research, I work in the Byron Bay food industry as a Social Media Manager.  I am known for my dog-minding ability and my penchant for champagne. I enjoy dabbling in food photography and and I enjoy playing in the kitchen for a digital detox.

I also love to travel. I cherish the opportunity to explore far away places as well as lesser-known pockets nearer and dearer to me. When I’m coming home from one journey I’m already planning the next.
